Society Registration
When individuals band together for a common objective or altruistic motive, a society is created. A society must have a minimum of seven members. The “Societies Act, of 1860” also governs these societies. Depending on the State, these may have slightly different laws and regulations.
Documents Required
All members of the proposed society’s PAN cards must be provided with the application.
Residence Proof
Every member of the society must also submit proof of residency. The following items are acceptable proof of residence:

Aadhaar Card
Utility Bill
Driving License
Passport
